How many transactions per second can Kaspa handle?
The current Kaspa node software, rusty-kaspa, has been benchmarked at 3,000 transactions per second on ordinary commodity hardware. That number is not a roadmap target or a lab projection — it is a measured capability of the production software running today. For scale, the source notes that Visa's average global throughput is approximately 1,700 TPS. For a beginner, this matters because it means Kaspa can process real-world payment volumes using hardware anyone can buy, not expensive specialized infrastructure.
