What are ZK opcodes and what will they enable on Kaspa?
ZK opcodes are a zero-knowledge proof feature currently in development for Kaspa that will allow the full historical state of the blockchain to be proven cryptographically without storing it. Zero-knowledge proofs are a cryptographic technique that lets anyone verify a statement is true without needing all of the underlying raw data — in Kaspa's case, that means any transaction's validity can be verified all the way back to genesis without replaying every block. For a beginner, this matters because it offers a stronger trustless guarantee than simply archiving old blocks: the history is mathematically proven, not just kept on file.
