Does running a Kaspa node require a fast SSD?
No — storage speed is not a significant factor for running a Kaspa node. Because Kaspa's data flow is slow (on the order of tens of kilobytes per second), even a standard hard drive can keep up without bottlenecking the node. This means you are not forced to buy expensive high-speed NVMe storage just to participate, which lowers the hardware barrier for anyone who wants to run their own node.
