What is the Kaspa Public Node Network (PNN)?
The Kaspa Public Node Network (PNN) is the collection of DNS seeders, a node resolver, and Kaspa nodes hosted by the Kaspa Community that together form Kaspa's peer-to-peer infrastructure. DNS seeders act like address books: you query one (for example, sean.kaspa.stream) using a command-line tool called nslookup, and it returns a list of IP addresses, each corresponding to a Kaspa node running somewhere on the internet. Understanding the PNN matters because it is the foundation through which your wallet or mining software connects to the broader Kaspa network.
