What is SilverScript?

SilverScript is Kaspa's first high-level smart contract language, already implemented and running on Testnet 12 today. Its compiler is open-source and ships with more than 80 working contract examples — including vaults, smart wallets, native asset issuance, DEX patterns, and covenant logic. The syntax is based on CashScript, the contract language used by Bitcoin Cash, adapted for Kaspa's extended UTXO model. For a beginner, the key takeaway is that Kaspa's smart contract capability is not a future roadmap item: it is running, testable code.
