Why is KDX solo mining unlikely to earn rewards on Kaspa today?
KDX mines Kaspa in solo mode, meaning your GPU competes alone against every other miner on the network to find each block — and you only get paid when your hardware wins that race. Network hashrate is the total combined computing power of all miners worldwide; when it is extremely high, the odds that a single GPU finds a block on its own become very low. The KDX documentation notes that finding a block with a single GPU "could be very hard" under current conditions for exactly this reason. For most people, pool mining — where many miners combine their power and share rewards proportionally — is a more realistic path to earning Kaspa, and is what the Kaspa wiki recommends instead.
