When did Kaspa launch?

Kaspa was launched on November 7, 2021.

A fair launch means the coin became publicly available to everyone at the same time, with no special early access given to founders, investors, or insiders. Anyone who wanted to mine or buy on day one had the same opportunity as everyone else.

A premine is when a project creates a supply of coins for itself before the public launch — essentially a head start for insiders at the expense of later participants. Kaspa had no premine: zero coins were set aside for any team, company, or early backer. Every KAS in existence was earned through open mining after the network went live.
